Write for Joe Daniel Football

You want to get your Football Coaching writing out to a larger audience. And you’ve come to the right place!

I’m looking for authors to provide great articles for readers of Joe Daniel Football. Articles that will help Football Coaches win games.

Before you start writing, read through all the information on this page. I do have certain guidelines for guest posting that must be met. You should submit a proposal before you begin writing (instructions below).

What should you write for Joe Daniel Football?

We accept original content submissions that have not been published anywhere else. No canned articles, and no plagiarism.

Articles on How-To coaching for Offense, Defense or Special Teams are strongly encouraged. Coaching Philosophy and Advice articles that fit our audience are also accepted. All articles should be educational for football coaches.

We do not accept ‘opinion’ style articles or commentary. This site is for football coaches, not football fans. Write accordingly.

Articles should be between 750 and 1,000 words. Articles should not exceed 1,200 words.

Write your article to be read be Football Coaches. Keep a conversational tone.

Don’t try to impress everyone with how much you know. Don’t write for your English Professor. Short words, short sentences, and short paragraphs are preferred. Coaches read Joe Daniel Football during class or in the bathroom.

Include all necessary diagrams. Diagrams need to be clear and include captions to explain their use. We can assist in creating diagrams and may re-design your diagrams to match our needs.

You can include up to 3 external links to other relevant content. This may be your own content, or relevant content from other sources.

Write a brief summary of the intended purpose of your article. This short 2-3 sentence summary tells us why football coaches should read your contribution.

Include a brief personal bio and a headshot to be included at the end of your article. Include links for social media here.

Who should write articles for Joe Daniel Football?

Write a Guest Post for our website if you are…

  • A football coaching blogger who is looking for more exposure for your writing.
  • Looking for more exposure for a product or service you are marketing for Football Coaches.
  • Trying to get your football coaches ideas out to a larger audience. Honestly, I am not looking for submissions from coaches with nothing to gain. Coaching requires long hours. I’d rather you spend more time with your family.

If you are interested in starting your own football coaching blog or podcast, please contact me.

Your experience level doesn’t matter. The age level you work with does not matter (I’m always looking for good Youth content!). What matters is that the content of your Guest Post will benefit other football coaches.

Why should you write for Joe Daniel Football?

We can provide a lot of exposure for well-written content that supports the Football Coaching Community. JDFB is one of the largest websites for football coaches on the internet.
